Hannah's story

Hannah is a 48-year-old entrepreneur. She is married and has four children who are in school. Hannah is a high school graduate. She runs a food market selling fish, chicken feet, meat, and potatoes. She got her start-up capital from her husband and learned how to sell from her mother.

She works Monday through Saturday and uses a car to transport supplies to her business site. To continue her business, Hannah has asked for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva lending partner. With this loan, she will buy more fish, chicken feet, meat, and potatoes to sell to her good clients. She likes her business because it sustains her family. Hannah wishes to say thanks.
