Why are you interested in becoming a Trustee?

I am interested in becoming a Trustee because I work 1-on-1 with a lot of small business owners. Most of them are in need of funding, yet not all of them are ready for it. I would like to be a Trustee in order to help Kiva lenders make the best decisions possible based on the in depth knowledge I have about the businesses I personally work with.

What is the mission of your organization?

The mission of my organization is to help bridge the wealth gap by providing access to capital to individuals and small businesses that often do not have equitable capital access to help build wealth.

Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

I will decide who to endorse as a borrower based on the financials I request from the small business owners I work with. I would want to make sure the borrower understands their financials and is working with positive cash flow.
