Why are you interested in becoming a Trustee?

EGBI believes that KIVA could be a great resource to our clients in Central Texas; we want to be able to let others know about active EGBI's clients.

What is the mission of your organization?

EGBI supports small businesses to be profitable, sustainable and an asset to the community. EGBI offers training, coaching and services to assist aspiring and existing small business owners who face barriers to starting and growing a business, barriers such as language, finances, and knowledge.

Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

EGBI will endorse active clients who are approved by KIVA to begin a private fundraising round. Active clients are working with EGBI staff on building a plan and strong foundation for their business.
