Why are you interested in becoming a Trustee?

Startup Junkie Foundation is the facilitator of the "Northwest Arkansas Kiva Hub" with our headquarters in Fayetteville. We offer no-cost assistance to anyone with the Kiva loan process. We also offer no-cost individual, expert business consulting services to existing businesses, aspiring entrepreneurs and startups in our region for any business purpose. We host major entrepreneur events small and large-scale that are free to the public and assist area organizations, schools, universities, and cities that are supporting entrepreneurship to grow this vital ecosystem. We are funded by third-party supporters and grants from the Walton Family Foundation, the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, the federal Economic Development Administration, and the US Small Business Administration to offer these no-cost services to the public.

Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

We will meet directly with borrowers, visit their businesses if they have physical locations, and we will help them review their financial outlook and plans to help ensure repayments on their Kiva loans.
