Why are you interested in becoming a Trustee?

We’re a nonprofit company that offers below market rate office space, networking events, and programs that support diversity, veterans, health technology, brownfield redevelopment, and minority construction firms. We are looking forward to helping the small businesses in our network access capital through Kiva.

What is the mission of your organization?

Riverside Center for Innovation (RCI) engages in activities that cultivate a healthy environment for the region's entrepreneurs and small businesses to prosper.

Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

RCI will only endorse businesses that have participated in our services, such as being an RCI tenant or an active member of the Diversity Business Resource Center (dbrcpittsburgh.org), for at least 3 months and have participated in at least one program. They must have completed our BizFit Tier 3 entrepreneurship training or otherwise be qualified to enter our next phase, BizFit Tier 2. Beyond those basic eligibility requirements, candidates will be considered on a case by case basis.
