Why are you interested in becoming a Trustee?

We work with entrepreneurs in Baltimore and have staff trained as a Kiva advisor. We hope to expand access to capital for Baltimore businesses and see Kiva as a fantastic tool in our kit.

What is the mission of your organization?

Invested Impact works tirelessly with community partners, corporate sponsors, grantmakers, and mission investors to strengthen Baltimore’s economic and entrepreneurial ecosystem for underrepresented entrepreneurs and disinvested communities. We develop and promote strategies and programs designed to increase economic inclusion and expand financial and human capital for entrepreneurs and communities facing systemic barriers to economic empowerment and independence.

Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

As a convener of entrepreneur resources in the city we have relationships with numerous organizations and one of our requirements will be to have gone through either a business finance course, partnered with a mentoring organization, or undergone a Business Plan Review
