Why are you interested in becoming a Trustee?

Kiva speaks to me in a way that most fund raising entities can't. They are the epitome of honest and integrity and captures the dream of most individuals who have the spirit to start their own business. I, myself, have parallel feelings and goals. I aim to always help new business owners and entrepreneurs via guidance, experience and financially. I know that I can bring a sense of personal touch and advisement to the Kiva community.

Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

People is the single most important part of an investment. I would make sure that the individuals proposed to run the company have a good head on the shoulders, and the insight and talent to make their business successful. If they can make it successful, the money will be there to pay back the borrowers. If I would personally invest my money in the company, I would put my name on others putting money down.
