Why are you interested in becoming a Trustee?

Unlimited Future, is a small business incubator and resource center that provides critical support services to disadvantaged entrepreneurs. The organization wishes to partner with Kiva Zip in order to offer an easier way for its clients to access funding. Unlimited Future, is actively working to change the economic climate of the Tri-State. We strive to motivate, empower, and educate clients to change their lives through business ownership. Funding is one of the biggest huddles disadvantaged entrepreneurs face when starting a business. By offering our clients a less stressful way to obtain funding, we help to make business ownership more realistic.

What is the mission of your organization?

The mission of Unlimited Future, Inc. is to eliminate barriers to the creation of successful business opportunities, allowing all people in the Tri-State to realize their goals and potentials.

Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

Clients will attend our "Six Week Start-Up program Planning for Profit". The "Planning for Profit” course uses the book Six Week Start-Up, by Rhonda Abrams. This twelve-hour course lays out everything one needs to know in order to start a successful small business. The book uses a practical approach that includes worksheets, checklists and comprehensive research links for each week’s topic. Prospective business owners learn how to find the answers they need for their specific business type. The course covers such topics as developing a business concept, industry research, target market and competition, legal and licensing issues and financial plans including cash flow projections.
