Why are you interested in becoming a Trustee?

As a Kiva Fellow, I am in an exciting position to become a trustee and endorse borrowers that I believe have social impact, have a solid business and most importantly, whose reputation and character I admire.

Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

I will endorse those entrepreneurs whose character I can attest to. I understand that Kiva is focused not on credit scores, but on character, solvency of the business and social impact. I will make sure to can endorse a borrower whose business model is feasible, has a market and is sustainable.
