The Centro Business Planning App uses simple steps and simple language to walk people through the business planning process, and connects them to local funders and business support services. One of the lenders available is Kiva.

What is the mission of your organization?

The app was created to guide entrepreneurs through the business planning process to help them start and grow their businesses and to develop sustainable business models, and help them discover local microlenders and business support resources.

Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

In order to qualify for our endorsement for their Kiva loan, individuals must create their business plans using the Centro Business Planning App (www.centro-mobile.org). By completing all of the activities in this app, potential borrowers will have thought through the different pieces of their business models and should be able to effectively explain their business to Kiva lenders.
