Why are you interested in becoming a Trustee?

We are a business leadership service organization that believe with our pool of members we can assist new business to grow in the Pittsburgh area. As a chartered member of Rotary International, part of our responsibilities are vocational and community service, so working with Kiva and their members is a perfect partnership.

What is the mission of your organization?

We provide service to others, promote integrity and advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through our fellowship of business, professional and community leaders.

Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

All decisions will be done by committee of 4 individuals: two community bankers , a community organizer and a community developer. We will use all the expertise of our members to investigate borrowers and their ability to achieve their goals. Many of our members are small business owners who will assist PERC in our work with KIVA and borrowers.
