Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

In deciding who to endorse, we will first be looking to our existing partners, and by keeping a pulse on the needs of communities. If there are easily identified key leaders, it is part of our mission to cultivate that potential and empower people into action. Currently, our programs include an ambassador model - individuals dedicated to improving their communities - these people lead us to people and projects with endless potential. We work with people who have demonstrated a commitment to making a social impact - we will begin our due diligence with this network in place. While considering different borrowers, our team will take into account whether the individual or company has a clearly defined business plan and strong mission as well as whether their marketing, fundraising and capacity is consistent with their ability to meet their goal.
