Why are you interested in becoming a Trustee?

Small farms and entrepreneurs trying to grow and produce food with integrity face many challenges. Many lack the capital necessary to take their business to the next level. It would be our honor to stand by community members and help them raise the funds that will build our local economy and help get more great food to the people of New Orleans.

Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

Any borrowers we endorse will either already be working within the Good Eggs network or will be a farmer/entrepreneur we have established a relationship with and are planning on getting started with. We evaluate all producers selling through good eggs based on a set of criteria for sustainable growing, sourcing, and fair labor practices.
