Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

Borrowers will be assessed on a number of different factors, particularly character and repayment ability. The Hollywood BusinessSource enrolls dozens of clients every year with a variety of capital needs. As advisors, we are in a unique position to determine repayment ability for the Kiva Zip loan. We offer individualized technical assistance to monitor profit margins regularly, and work with participants to adjust workflows to ensure a profitable, socially-responsible enterprise. Other than character and repayment ability, candidates will also be judged on the viability of their business plan, their potential social impact, and the potential for their business to create jobs.
