I have enjoyed success in building my own creative business and am a strong believer in being active in my community and supporting other small businesses. I have over 30 years of experience in the economic and business development fields, focusing primarily in the creative sector.

Assist current and future business owners at all stages along the entrepreneurial highway.

Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

I will evaluate their submissions on viability and marketability. I look for creativity and the entrepreneur's ability to think through the entire process of developing the business. I will go through the same process of market analysis that I use for my clients on a daily basis at the KSBDC. Identifying the potential borrower's competitors will most likely be my first point of research. I will then try to understand what differentiates the potential borrower form others in the same industry. The majority of my due dilligence will be conducted online.
