Why are you interested in becoming a Trustee?

The Hill CDC is dedicated to the economic development in the Hill District Community of Pittsburgh. Becoming a Trustee is another way that we can assist and empower entrepreneurs to participate in the ownership and development of the Community.

What is the mission of your organization?

The Hill CDC works in partnership with residents and stakeholders to create, promote, and implement strategies and programs that connect plans, policies and people to drive compelling community development opportunities in the Greater Hill District.

Borrower Due Diligence

How will you decide who to endorse as a borrower? What due diligence will you conduct?

Our organization seeks to bring businesses to our area and provide physical spaces for them to set up. We will vet the candidates from a standpoint of financial soundness, assist them with obtaining certifications necessary to do business in the area, and provide training workshops on a variety of topics to ensure that they are understand all aspects of starting and running their businesses. Only those candidates that complete our application, interview and training processes will be endorsed as borrowers.
