Rita's story
Rita resides in the province of Iloilo. She is 62 years old and married. She and her husband earn their livelihood through fishing. They have been doing this work for 11 years.
Currently, Rita is seeking a loan of PHP 60, 000 through Kiva’s field partner, CEVI (a microfinance NGO) in the Philippines. The loan will be utilized to buy fishing nets and materials for boat repair like plywood, nails and paint.
She aspires to enhance their livelihood in the future, aiming for an improved standard of living.
