Kelly Rocio's story
Kelly is a young woman committed to her training. She is studying to become a dentist at Norbert Weiner University and has advanced more than halfway through her studies.
She lives with her parents and sister. Her mother is a housewife, and her father is a merchant with a booth at the market.
As the younger daughter and the first to access higher education, Kelly feels a lot of pride and responsibility.
From a young child, Kelly has had social awareness and decided to study to transform lives through oral health.
Her goal is to return confidence to children and adults through their smiles, especially in places where a high percentage of the child population faces dental problems.
Kelly is a dedicated student who spends long hours studying. However, her family’s economic situation doesn’t allow for covering the total cost of her education.
Although Kelly does freelance work to contribute to her tuition expenses, the family’s income isn’t enough, and she is finding that she is risking an interruption in her training.
This uncertainty is causing her to worry. That is why Kelly is asking for support from Kiva through an education loan that will allow her to continue her studies.
