Kholoud's story
Kholoud, a Jordanian widow in her fifties and the mother of three, is the primary provider for her children’s well-being, taking on the responsibility of securing a better life for her family after their significant loss.
She started her home-based bakery business to ensure a reliable income that would cover her financial responsibilities. She asked for a loan of 950 JOD to buy flour, vegetables, and other necessary supplies for her business.
She has overcome her sorrow with strength, refusing to give up and instead fighting for her children to live in peace. Now, she is working hard to open a successful, independent kitchen.
