Meet Richard!

Richard is a farmer from rural East Panama and is dedicated to planting sustainable otoe (cocoyam).

Today, Richard is applying for a Kiva loan to buy seeds and farming equipment to grow his sustainable farming small business. This loan will enable him to plant during the planting season and hire local workers from his community, generating opportunities for his family and his community.

Richard has taken out loans in the past and has been punctual with his financial obligations, demonstrating his responsibility and commitment.
