Jibu's story
Jibu is a social enterprise that is pioneering a powerful new model that capitalizes and equips entrepreneurs in emerging market communities to own businesses that create affordable access to drinking water. Jibu's vision is to train, finance, and grow a network of invested business owners who will revolutionize the way critical resources are leveraged to develop essential infrastructure in emerging markets.
This loan will be used to extend Jibu's footprint in Zambia by setting up locally-owned franchises and providing the initial inventory support needed to scale.
Over the next five years, Jibu anticipates launching 30 new locally-owned franchises in Zambia that will serve more than 100,000 daily consumers with safe drinking water.
