Yiriwa-Ton Group's story
Mamadou N°2 is a young Malian aged 44, married and father of 5 children whose ages vary between 7 and 16 years old, and of whom 3 are in school. He lives with his family in a village in Mali. He is involved in the breeding of small ruminants (sheep and goats) and other species. His wife is a housewife who supports him a lot in the maintenance of the animals.He is the person in the photo who has his hand on the rope of the sheep.
Mamadou N°2 is requesting a loan from the RMCR to expand his business in order to earn more income to be able to meet the needs of his family.
He gets his supplies from the markets in his locality and resells to buyers after having raised and fattened the animals. His profit varies between 50,000 CFA francs and 75,000 CFA francs.
Mamadou N°2 is very courageous in his activity and he has a good reputation in his village.
