Hatice, a 79-year-old mother of three, has spent her entire life working hard to support her family. Through handicrafts and various jobs, she not only earned her own income but also helped educate her children and contributed to her household.
Despite her advancing age, Hatice remains determined and passionate about her craft, continuing to produce beautiful handmade pieces to sustain herself financially.
With the support she will receive through Kiva, she plans to purchase essential materials such as scarves, embroidery threads, and needles, allowing her to continue her work, increase her income, and maintain her independence.
