Mairambi's story
This is Mairambi. She lives in the town of Kulob with her 4 children. They all live in one home. Mairambi is a real master and craftswoman. She sews women's clothing and does embroidery out of her home.
Mairambi knows how to sew, cut, and embroider women's dresses in the national style very well. Mairambi has already been working at this business for 34 years and she is satisfied with her work, but her sewing machine is really obsolete and she wants to buy a new machine with the loan money. Mairambi hopes that with the new sewing machine she will be able to take on more orders and increase her income.
