A loan of $1,650 helps to add more goats to sell.

Christine's story
Christine is a refugee mother to six children. All of her children attend school and stay with her in Yumbe, which is in the West Nile region of Uganda.
Today her life is much better, and she can afford to give her family at least two meals a day and offer them some basic needs.
She is a farmer who grows millet, cassava and sorghum. Besides this, she also rears goats. She would like to buy more goats so that she is able to buy some cows.
With this in place, she will be able to sell some milk and pay school fees. Her dream is to build a permanent house.
Without the support of VisionFund and Kiva she would not be where she is today.
