Hülya

Hülya, a 46-year-old mother of two, has been working hard to support her family and contribute to their livelihood. Determined to provide for her children’s needs, she turned her passion for hand-knitted crafts into a source of income, selling handmade bath mitts and traditional socks to her community.

Well-respected and admired for her perseverance, Hülya takes pride in fulfilling the knitting needs of those around her. Through her earnings, she has gained financial independence, allowing her to purchase personal necessities without relying on her husband and to cover her children's school expenses.

With the support she will receive through Kiva, Hülya plans to purchase wholesale yarn to meet increasing customer demand and expand her production. By doing so, she hopes to increase her income, strengthen her business, and create a more secure future for her family.
