Xuân's story
Xuân is a 58-year-old woman from Quảng Xương District. She has faced many hardships in life. After losing her husband early, she single-handedly raised two children who are now grown and financially independent.
With over 30 years of experience in small-scale trading, Xuân also engages in livestock farming to supplement her income. However, despite her hard work, she remains part of a low-income household in her community. This is her fifth loan from Thanh Hóa Microfinance Institution, as previous loans have helped improve her living conditions. With this loan, she hopes to expand her livestock farming by purchasing cattle. She plans to raise these animals to maturity and then sell them for a profit. The additional income will provide her with better financial security as she prepares for old age.
Xuân dreams of a more stable and comfortable life. She hopes to stay healthy, continue her business, and build a savings fund to ensure a secure and worry-free future.
