He Muong 105 Group's story
Cham is a 33-year-old married man. He belongs to an ethnic minority living in the mountains of northern Vietnam. His family consists of four people: his wife and two children who are attending secondary school. He stands on the right in this photo.
Cham and his wife provide the two main sources of income for this family. Every day, not only does he work hard in the fields and but he also raises pigs to earn more income. According to him, pigs are easier to raise while poultry are more susceptible to disease. He has been raising pigs for years and that valuable experience always makes his pigs healthy and fat.
With the expectation to be able to buy more piglets and repopulate them, he wants to have this loan as his capital. As the livestock investment is improved and getting more profitable, he will be able to give his children a higher education and a brighter future. This support from Kiva lenders is a great motivation for him.
