Duyên

Mrs. Duyên, 42, lives with her family in Cẩm Thủy district. She has 2 children who are still in school; her eldest child is 13 and in secondary school, while her youngest is 10 and in primary school and still dependent on her.

With over 15 years of experience in farming, Mrs. Duyên also works as a tailor for local households. However, her customer base is not stable, making her family’s income uncertain and placing them in the low-income category in their community. Since 2017, she has taken out 5 loans from Thanh Hóa MFI, which have helped her improve her family’s living conditions. Now, she is applying for her 6th loan to invest in sugarcane farming. She needs additional capital to buy sugarcane seedlings, grow them, and later sell them for profit to support her household. However, she struggles because the market prices for her products remain low.

In the future, Mrs. Duyên hopes for a healthy and happy family, enough income to support her children’s education, and the ability to build a new house for a better living environment.
