A loan of $1,975 helps to buy more cattle to raise to sell.

Thăng's story
Mrs. Thăng, a 65-year-old ethnic minority woman in Việt Nam, lives with her family in Cẩm Thủy district. She has three grown children, all of whom have their own families.
With over 30 years of experience in farming, Mrs. Thăng also taps rubber latex for local households, while her husband works as a freelance labor. However, their jobs are unstable, and the family is classified as a low-income household in the area. Since 2021, she has taken loans from Thanh Hóa MFI, which have helped reduce financial difficulties.
Now, for her fourth loan, she plans to invest in livestock farming by purchasing cattle, raising them until they mature, and selling them for meat to generate additional income. One of the biggest challenges she faces is living far from the town center, which limits access to markets and opportunities.
In the future, Mrs. Thăng hopes for good health, happiness, and better financial stability so she can save money for her old age.
