Erwin David's story
Erwin David is 18 years old. He is single and lives in his father's home. They live at the bottom of Montecristi. It stands out for its arts and crafts made from straw, wicker, piquigua (a forest plant used to make fiber), and wood; straw hats known around the world as the “Panama hat”.
Erwin David is a great son who helps his father with the household costs. At home, they have a small ice factory where they have a a machine that makes ice cubes. They pack and sell them to shops, restaurants, event rooms and to customers who go to them to buy each day. This is how they work every day.
In his spare time, he also does haircuts for men from home and other people's residences.
He is very grateful for the good people who help them with loans. This way they can have a better life.
