A loan of $1,975 helps to buy acacia seedlings.

Kiều's story
Mrs. Kiều, a 30-year-old ethnic minority woman in Vietnam, is married and lives in Ngọc Lặc District. She has two young children who are still in school depending on her: her eldest is in 2nd grade, while the younger one attends kindergarten. With over five years of experience in farming, she also sells beverages to earn extra income. Her husband works as a freelance laborer, but due to an unstable customer base, their family is classified as low-income in the community.
This is Mrs. Kiều’s fourth loan with Thanh Hóa MFI, and previous loans have helped improve her family’s living conditions. She is now seeking additional financial support to invest in acacia tree farming. With this loan, she can purchase seedlings, which will not only increase her household income but also contribute to environmental conservation through reforestation. Living far from the town center presents many challenges, making it crucial for her to establish a more stable and sustainable source of income.
Looking ahead, Mrs. Kiều dreams of a happy and healthy family with a more secure livelihood. She hopes to earn enough to support her children’s education and eventually build a new home for her family.
