Eligio's story

Meet Eligio!

With a lot of effort and sacrifice, Eligio built a food store to distribute grains, water and other food items in his community. His food store is one of the main stores in the region and is really appreciated by the people in his community and nearby towns.

As Eligio's food store is running low, he is applying for his first Kiva loan to buy inventory to restock the store. With the funds, he is planning to buy rice, beans, beverages, cleaning supplies, and agricultural products from local farmers to restock his store.

Thank you for supporting entrepreneurs like Eligio from indigenous territories that have been historically excluded from basic financial services.
