Neyda Larissa's story

Neyda Larissa is 20 years old, single, and lives at her parent’s house in the city of Portoviejo, which is rich in its production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruits for domestic consumption. This area also has beaches and a variety of tourist sites.

Neyda Larissa is a good daughter who helps her parents with part of the household expenses. She is studying at a university in the city for a degree in Elementary School Education. To cover the expense of her studies, she sells fast food with her mother. They set up a small vending cart where they sell hamburgers and French fries in the afternoons outside of their home. Many people arrive to enjoy the delicious food they prepare. They sell in the afternoons Thursday through Sunday until they run out of what they prepared. In addition, they offer soft drinks and water.

Neyda Larissa also sells a variety of women’s clothes. Her customers buy the merchandise on credit and pay in installments every eight days. Every time she collects payment, she is able to offer more to sell. Neyda Larissa is grateful to the good people who have helped with the loans, which have enabled her to continue her studies and support her family.

This loan will be used to buy T-shirts, dresses, trousers, jeans, potatoes, oil, bread, ground meat, vegetables, propane gas, soft drinks, water, and other items. Her dreams are to become a successful professional and to see her family remain in good health.
