A loan of $800 helps to buy urea and weed control sprays, as well as pay for labor to apply fertilizers to his cassava crops.

Rafael Enrique's story
This borrower has more than six years of experience in agriculture. He grows cassava of the Valencia variety and currently has 1.5 plots under cultivation. From his efforts, he hopes to produce 280 quintals of cassava at a price of 290 HNL each. In addition, he supplements his income from his work for a glass company. He has 15 months of experience making and installing windows, glass doors, display units, and skylights in homes, which allows him to have financial stability.
The loan he requested will be used to buy urea and weed control sprays, as well as pay for labor to apply fertilizers to his cassava crops. His dreams are to improve his farming production, strengthen his income, and secure the well-being of his family. He is grateful for the support Kiva has offered, since it will be the key to continue growing his business and enabling him to fulfill his financial commitments.
