Madame Diaraye, pictured with her hand raised, is the group's representative. She is married, 48 years old and has nine children, including four boys, and looks after her three nieces. She has been trading in dried fish, monkey bread, honey, palm oil and lemon juice for several years.

She buys her supplies in the surrounding villages and sells them in her neighborhood. With the profits she earns, she helps to run her family and save money.
