A loan of $100,000 helps to purchase solar home systems that will be financed for rural customers in Namibia.
Olusheno's story
In partnership with d.light design, Olusheno, a local social enterprise based in Namibia, aims to bridge the affordability gap by providing high-quality solar light to thousands of “off-grid” families on affordable installments. Olusheno has already provided sustainable lighting to over 29,000 households across the country and is working to fulfill the government’s dream of bringing reliable electricity to its one million off-grid citizens by 2030.
Olusheno is a long term partner with d.light and is doing extraordinary work in Namibia.
This new loan will be used as working capital for Olusheno to purchase 2,500 solar home systems that will be sold in rural areas of Namibia. Your contribution will help thousands of people light up their lives for the first time!
