Juan Noe
A loan of $1,000 helps to buy the necessary farming supplies, pay rent on a plot of land, and hire workers to clear the land for planting blackberries.

Juan Noe's story
Juan is an older rural man who is 60 years of age. He lives with his two children in a modest cement house that he built with great effort after he divorced his wife. Since then, he has taken care of them, but they are now adults and help with the work.
Juan engages in different farming activities. Even though he mainly focuses on cultivating blackberries, he also plants beans and corn since they are short-cycle crops. Juan wanted to plant more crops, so he took advantage of an opportunity to rent a plot of land nearby to plant more blackberries. However, he needs financial assistance to buy the necessary farming supplies, pay rent on the land, and hire workers to clear the land. In this manner, he hopes to grow his agricultural business and create jobs for other residents in the future.
Juan would also like to continue with the finishing touches to his cottage so that he can enjoy a better quality of life.
