Dung's story
Mrs. Dung, a 42-year-old woman, is a devoted wife and mother of two school-aged children. She and her family reside in a rural area of Thiệu Hóa District. Her husband is a manual laborer while she works as a tailor and raises livestock to supplement their household income. Despite their hard work, their combined earnings are only sufficient to cover daily expenses. Her family was recognized as a poor household in the village.
With hopes of improving their financial situation, Mrs. Dung has planned to purchase three more cows for breeding and resale. However, their savings are insufficient to cover the cost. To fulfill this goal, she has applied for her fifth loan from Thanh Hóa MFI, a microfinance institution. She firmly believes that within a year, selling the cattle will generate a substantial profit, providing her family with a better standard of living.
With proper financial support and determination, she hopes to turn her aspirations into reality, securing a brighter future for her children.
