A loan of $2,000 helps to buy new fishing nets for her husband's business.

Tình's story
Tình is a 41-year-old woman from a coastal village in Hoang Hoa District. She and her family have a simple yet hardworking life. Tình is married and has three children, two of whom have already started working, while the youngest is still in school.
Her family relies on the sea for their livelihood. Like many fishermen in the region, her husband earns a living by fishing along the shore. However, Tinh plays a crucial supporting role by preparing the fishing gear, mending nets, and ensuring that everything is ready for each fishing trip. Together, they earn between $500 and $600 per month, which is just enough to cover their basic needs.
However, their financial situation has recently become more challenging. The fishing nets, which are essential for their work, have become old and less effective. To overcome this difficulty, Tinh decided to apply for a loan from Thanh Hoa Microfinance Institution, an organization she has trusted since 2011. As a long-time client, she hopes to receive financial support to buy new fishing equipment.
With better tools, Tình believes her family can increase their catch, improve their income, and secure a more stable future.
