Ha'ahao's story
For more than 40 years, this mother, Ha'ahao, runs a weaving business, in order to take care of her nine children. Her husband passed away many years ago and Ha'ahao actively maintains her business in order to educate and feed her children.
Now, they are all grown up and have their own families, but still Ha'ahao runs her business and helps them with providing for their children.
With this loan, Ha'ahao is able to buy the amount of pandanus she needs for her weaving. She weaves with a group of six women and weaving with a group really helps them.
