Joseline Raquel
A loan of $1,950 helps to purchase fabric and different colors of thread wholesale.

Joseline Raquel's story
Joseline, twenty-three years old, is a woman who for many years has worked selling new casual clothing. She saw that there is a lot of demand for sewing clothing such as pants, shirts, and school uniforms. So, 10 years ago, she entered into this business. In addition, for five years, she has also embroidered logos on the clothing.
Joseline supports herself with her parents making and selling wholesale to schools in her community as well as other places. She only works to order, this generates nice earnings, which help her to contribute to the household finances.
Joseline is single and lives with her parents and three younger siblings. She wants to increase the inventory of her business. This first individual Kiva loan will allow her to purchase a variety of fabric and thread and, in the future, she wants to be able to meet new demand.
She is a woman who lives in the department/state of Suchitepéquez and is a Spanish-speaker. Joseline looks forward to the technical training as part of Friendship Bridge's Puente al Éxito program. Topics such as inventory, good customer service, and entrepreneurship will surely bring her business to success.
Thank you, Kiva lenders, for taking the time to get to know enterprising women such as Joseline and for financing their loans.
