This group was set up in January 2023 and is made up of women who trade in various products. The women live in the same neighbourhood and have a strong sense of solidarity.
Khady Dioulla is a married woman, 27 years old and the mother of three boys. She trades mainly in fabric, perfume, shoes, handbags and cosmetic products. She buys her supplies in the capital in order to resell them in her neighbourhood.
She has been developing her sales business for over ten years. With this new loan, she plans to strengthen her business by buying 12 lots of fabric, 4 dozen perfumes, 3 buckets of incense and 4 half-dozen pairs of shoes. She sells her products at home.
The profits will be used to increase her business and build up her savings.
