Angle L'islam Timtimol Dahra Group's story
The group consists of 18 members who share strong bonds of solidarity and mutual help: they live in the same neighbourhood and seized the opportunity to join the banc villageois when it was set up in the area in December 2017.
Madam Aminata (standing on the far left of the photo, with her hand raised), is the group's representative: she is 22 years old and is single with no children.
She is active in sheep fattening and is experienced, having practised this for several years.
With this new loan, she plans to buy sheep, fatten them up and sell them when they are mature.
With the profits she makes, she plans to save to grow her business and meet her own needs.
