Maria Clemencia
A loan of $1,500 helps to buy calves and pay rent on her grazing land.

Maria Clemencia's story
María is a 60-year-old, divorced woman. She spent part of her life caring for and educating her nieces and nephews. They are now independent adults who are grateful to her.
María lives alone in her house, and works in order to have a life with dignity. Her means of making a living revolve around agriculture, including working as a day laborer, raising animals and growing products from the Ecuadorian highlands.
María seeks a new loan to buy calves and pay rent on her grassland so her cattle can graze. Her wish is to live well in her old age, and to have animals so she can support herself.
