A loan of $5,775 helps a member to pay for maintenance on her vehicle that she uses to deliver water.
El Shaday Ii Group's story
Maiara, the second one in the photo from right to left, is married and has no children. She lives in a rented house in the eastern outskirts of Sao Paulo.
Her occupation is selling gallons of water, and she began doing so in 2012 when she was still a teenager to help with the household expenses. She was recommended by her stepfather to work at a company that sold water and cooking gas in the community. She began to stand out and grow professionally. Over time, she managed to save up to buy her own gallons and a motorbike, starting up her own business.
With the help of the loan, she will do maintenance on her vehicle which she uses for deliveries of water.
