Ak Yaye Group's story
This group has existed since September 2013. A good cohesion is noticeable within the group; their primary business activity is trade and livestock fattening. The group representant is one of its active members; Diarra is married and has six children, three of whom are boys. She buys oxen and raises them on her husband's land. She has very good experience in this sector, having been active in it for more than four years. She stocks upon supplies at the marketplace in her village. She raises the animals for a season and resells them at the weekly markets. With the earnings she receives, she covers part of the daily expenses and helps her husband.
