Tom's story

Ocean Fog Farm began on a snowy night with a dream to revive our passion for farming at our farmhouse. We started selling flowers from our home, and in the first year, we secured multiple wholesale accounts and attracted numerous customers. In three years, after welcoming our son, May transitioned to making this her full-time job.

Ocean Fog Farm has contributed to numerous weddings, serviced restaurants and hotels, secured corporate accounts, and supported non-profits. We currently employ three local individuals whom we have trained in farming and flower design. This year, we plan to return to our roots by offering quality food to our customers through our small roadside stand.

We're passionate about two main goals: restoring farming in Eastport and bringing beauty to people's tables each morning with our flowers.

Eastport has an agricultural history that we both cherish. It is a small town where everyone knows each other. The historic farmland has remained uncultivated for decades, and we aspire to change that. This commitment is part of our brand; we want to keep Eastport a farming community, which adds to the charm of our small town.

I believe that flowers can bring happiness and comfort to our lives in any situation. Personally, waking up each morning with my cup of coffee and flowers on my table brings me joy. When we donate our flowers to food shelters, we hear that their arrival brings huge smiles to the recipients' faces. The smiles and happiness we bring to people inspire us every day.
