Joyce's story

Joyce is a refugee mother of four children who are in school and live with her in Moyo.

Leaving her home in Sudan and fleeing to Uganda was not an easy thing, but she had to do so in order to save her life and that of her family. Her life has greatly improved, and she is in a much better position today.

Joyce is a businesswoman who sells food stuffs from a stall, and her business is growing day by day. But the stock she has is very limited, and she would like to increase it so she is able to boost her sales and pay school fees. She hopes one day to open a restaurant.

Joyce is very glad for all the support that VisionFund and Kiva has given her to improve her life.
