Fransisco's story

Meet Fransisco a refugee mother to 5 children who all attend school in Moyo. Along with her family, life may not have been at its best, but she never gave up in life.

When she left her home in Sudan, she had given up on life, but she decided to work hard and make her life better. She is a farmer who grows millet, maize, beans, and sorghum.

Besides farming, her main economic activity is trading. She has a small shop that sells a variety of home consumption goods.

She has very many customers, but she does not have a lot of things in the shop due to limited stock. She would like to add more stock to her business.

Her business is growing, and it is getting much better and she now understands what she exactly wants to stock so that she is able to bring goods that don't tie her capital.

With this addition, she will be able to sell more and pay school fees. Her dream is one day to be a restaurant owner. She is very certain that she will be able to achieve all that and more.

She is very glad for all the support that VisionFund and Kiva have given her to make her a happy woman today.
